Music that Transcends Time

St George's Concert Series has just launched its 2019 season!

The Cathedral is proud to announce that our own Dr Joseph Nolan, Organist and Master of the Choristers, has been nominated for Limelight Magazine's prestigious Artist of the Year Award 2018.

The winner of the People's Choice Award, a cash prize of $150, is Sophie Vawser, Lake Joondalup Baptist College, for Step Back (Oil on plywood).

St George's Cathedral is one of many historic buildings and small museums located in Perth's east end.

At the 16th Annual St George’s Art Gala Awards Night on Thursday 19 July, The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO, Archbishop of Perth, awarded prizes to four winning artworks, Mr Simon Church from Church + Osborne presented the Digital prize, and Mr Michael Boercamp from Jacksons Drawing Supplies presented five Highly Commended prizes.
